26.7km 934m ascent, 934m decent, Est time: 3:58
Starting from the carpark on the southside of the A939 road just a bit past the Goodbrand shop/tearooms (at the bottom of the map near the word Corgarff). Starting elevation 386m climbing to 651m on the first hill, 719m on the second. Lowest point when joining the main road near Milton, (306m). A lot of climbing makes this a hard ride, wet weather can make it even tougher, but in may 2004 the ground was dry and conditions near perfect, especially the weather, and despite a number of leisurely stops we completed the route below in about 3.5 hours.

Technically not challenging, as it consists of mostly fairly smooth landrover tracks, but a few steep uphill sections had most of us pushing our bikes at some point. The descent towards the small loch from 'The Socach' is very fast but pretty rough so check those tyre presures to avoid pinch flats.
