Hi, I am currently selling my Cove Stiffee hardtail mountain bike. This is a great all round bike that is highly rated and tested in many MTB magazines. I have ridden this bike at various trail centre’s around Scotland (Glentress, Laggan, Golspie etc) at which it performs perfectly in my opinion. It rides great when faced downhill but still amazingly comfortable on grueling climbs.

The bike is an ex-demo from Laggan Wolftrax. Being an demo bike only top components were chosen to build it.

Specification

17.5” matt black frame
Marzoochi AM2 150mm forks with adjustable lockout and rebound (may have been resprayed at some point as don’t have full graphics)
DT Swiss 6.1D rims on silver Pro2 hubs
Hope mono m4 brakes (new pads recently)
Hope headset
Raceface atlas crankset
Shimano front mech
Sram X7 rear mech
Sram shifters
Sram powerlink chain
Raceface diablous bars stem and grips
NEW SDG bel air saddle
NEW Thompson seatpost
Panaracer fire xc pro 2.1 tyres with conti tubes

(no pedals supplied with sale)

Overall a top quality, strong build capable of taking abuse but still fairly light weight.

The bike is in good condition. Some paint chipped around the chrainrings and minor stone chips underneath the frame and some from the bike rack as shown in the pics. Only improvement in my opinion would be the forks. They are great with the adjustable lockout for the climbs and 150mm of travel but aren’t as plush as other rockshox or fox equilvent but overall they are perfect for the bike and so I haven’t seen the need to change them.

It has just been serviced by my LBS ready for the buyer. The receipt will also be provided as well as any other receipts etc that I have.

I am looking for £900 ono now £750

I am able to post at an extra cost (UK only) probably about £20-£25.

Located in Aberdeen but will be back at Uni in Edinburgh from the 11th and can take bike with me if anyone is interested from down there.

Feel free to PM or even better email me at sean.henderson31[at]gmail.com for more info or pics.

Hope I have included everything.

Cheers,

Sean
